Head of Primary's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the festive season, we know many of you would like to send Christmas cards to each other.
As part of the Avanti Way, we want to uphold our core principle of:
Strengthening connection. In Strengthening connections, we believe all life is interconnected and therefore strive to care for and respect all life- human, animal and plant- living in a way that causes the least possible harm.
With the above in mind, we are asking all pupils who would like to send cards to their peers and teachers to send a single card addressed to the whole class, rather than individual ones. This may even be a home-made card! Teachers will share and display these cards in their classrooms wishing all pupils a Merry Christmas.
We want to thank you in advance for supporting in making our world a better place to live in.
At the end of this term, Mrs Carillo will be leaving Krishna Avanti Primary school. She has secured an exciting new role in a local special school and will be starting her new role in January 2026. Mrs Carillo has been at our school for last 8 years, she has been working hard to support our children through her role as a class teacher and the schools SENDCo. We thank Mrs Carillo for her dedication, commitment hard work and her cheery smile. She will be very much missed by our school community.
We wish her well in her new role.
Thank you, Mrs Carillo and good luck in your new job.
Warm regards,
Ms. A Thakore
Parents Survey
We kindly invite all parents to complete a short survey and share your thoughts about our school. Your feedback helps us ensure we’re providing the very best experience for your children.
This is your opportunity to tell us what you value and what you feel could be improved. The results will guide a series of more focused surveys later this year, helping us shape our action plans and continue improving our school community.
Magical Moments
Every two weeks, we take time to celebrate the Magical Moments happening across our school — those special sparks of curiosity, creativity, and deep learning that make each day meaningful. Whether it’s a breakthrough in understanding, a beautifully presented piece of work, or a moment of teamwork and joy, these snapshots capture the best of what learning at Krishna Avanti is all about.
We’re proud to share and celebrate these moments with our school community!

Rights Respecting at Home: Article of the Week
At Krishna Avanti Primary School, we are committed to promoting and upholding the rights of every child. It is important that children understand their rights because it helps them to feel valued, safe, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Rights Respecting School information
Articles 12 & 13 – Have Your Say! (Linked to UK Parliament Week)
Every child has the right to share their ideas and be listened to. You can also find out information and express your views safely and respectfully — just like MPs do in Parliament!
When children speak up kindly, adults can make fairer and wiser decisions. Everyone’s voice matters — at school, at home, and in the community.
At-home activity: 🏛️ Family Parliament – Have a fun family debate! Talk about something simple, like “What should we have for dinner?” or “How can mornings be calmer?” Take turns to share your ideas, listen carefully, and vote together!

Rights Respecting School Mascot
The Rights Respecting School Mascot Award goes to Ashvy G in Year 5 Mathura! 🦅✨
Our ambassadors were inspired by the eagle—known for its strength, courage, sharp vision, and ability to rise above challenges. These qualities beautifully reflect what it means to be a Rights Respecting School: standing up for what is right, showing resilience, seeing the world with fairness and clarity, and supporting others to soar. Congratulations, Ashvy, on creating a mascot that truly embodies these powerful rights-respecting values!
