Pupils Not Accessing Standard Assessments
In some cases, it may not be appropriate for a child to take part in formal assessments. We will always discuss this with parents and make decisions based on what is in the best interest of the child.
Alternative assessment approaches include:
-
Pre-Key Stage Standards
-
The Engagement Model (for pupils with complex needs)
If you have any questions about assessments or how we support your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or a member of the school leadership team.
