Head of Primary's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please do join us for our Town Hall Event – Tuesday 18th November ,Afternoon 3pm – 4pm (Sports Hall).
We’ll be hosting our Parent Town Hall event, providing an opportunity for parents to
reconnect with our senior leadership team — Miss Bardsley, Mrs Bridgmohun, Ms Dolby-Molson and
Miss Hartley.
I will be supporting a school review at another Trust school and will therefore be unable to
attend.
During the session, we’ll be sharing key milestones, feedback from recent reviews, and our ongoing
curriculum improvement plans — highlighting the fantastic work our staff have contributed to
improving pupils’ learning experiences.
A short parent survey will also be shared during the event, and there will be time for questions and
discussion.
To support the event, additional staff will be supervising Avanti Club to accommodate children whose
parents are attending. Thank you in advance to everyone helping to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Warm regards,
Ms. A Thakore
Magical Moments
Every two weeks, we take time to celebrate the Magical Moments happening across our school — those special sparks of curiosity, creativity, and deep learning that make each day meaningful. Whether it’s a breakthrough in understanding, a beautifully presented piece of work, or a moment of teamwork and joy, these snapshots capture the best of what learning at Krishna Avanti is all about.
We’re proud to share and celebrate these moments with our school community!
🧦 Odd Socks Day – Monday 10th November 🧦
What a fantastic Odd Socks Day we had on Monday 10th November! It was wonderful to see so many children embracing their individuality and bringing such a colourful, creative energy to school.
A huge congratulations to all the winners of our Creative Odd Sock Competition! Your designs were truly imaginative, unique, and full of personality. We were so impressed by the effort, creativity, and fun that went into each entry—it really made our washing line come alive!
Thank you to all the children who took part and to all parents/carers for supporting this celebration of uniqueness. Days like this remind us how special each child is, and we can’t wait for the next opportunity to celebrate creativity and individuality together.
We are delighted to be sharing that this week as part of our anti bullying week our staircase looks lovely with all the odd socks. We are reminded during this week that we are all special with unique talents that we should celebrate. Congratulations go to all our prize winners.

Ancient Greece
Year 5 immersed themselves back int time to Ancient Greece this week. Our visitors from Guarderobe brought in so many artefacts and clothing that allowed the children to understand more about what life was like in those times. Year 5 loved finding out what would have been worn and how the people kept themselves warm and comfortable underneath their armour. It was fascinating to see how the images on pots, jars, bowl etc.. portrayed everyday life for the Ancient Greeks.

Star of the week
Each week, we celebrate a pupil who truly embodies the values of the Avanti Way—whether it’s showing compassion, demonstrating self-discipline, striving for excellence, or fostering spiritual insight. This recognition is more than just good work—it's about living our values and inspiring others to do the same.
Well done to this week’s star for shining brightly and setting a wonderful example for us all!

Your cooperation ensures a safer environment for everyone, especially our children.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Breakfast Club
It has come to our attention that a number of children are being dropped off late for Breakfast Club. Please be advised that children arriving after 7:35 AM will not be admitted.
We appreciate your cooperation.
