Head of Primary's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
A huge well done to our Year 2 children who delivered a wonderful assembly this week based on their learning this term which included, history, D&T, Art and Science. Assemblies like these are fantastic opportunities to celebrate learning and showcase the incredible progress our pupils are making. They also provide a chance for children to develop their character, as speaking up and sharing in front of an audience takes courage, confidence, and resilience. Well done to all the children involved – you made us very proud!
We also have some exciting events coming up in December:
9th- Whole School Christmas Fayre 3:00 – 4:00pm
10th- Reception Christmas parent workshop and performance 1.00pm- 2.45pm
The parent/carer workshop is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in school life and see how your child is learning. The Christmas Fayre is a fundraising event to support the school – we hope parents can join us and appreciate all those who have supported in the past. We are looking forward to another fun, family-friendly celebration!

Magical Moments
Every two weeks, we take time to celebrate the Magical Moments happening across our school — those special sparks of curiosity, creativity, and deep learning that make each day meaningful. Whether it’s a breakthrough in understanding, a beautifully presented piece of work, or a moment of teamwork and joy, these snapshots capture the best of what learning at Krishna Avanti is all about.
We’re proud to share and celebrate these moments with our school community!

Parking permits from January 2026 onwards
We understand how important convenient access to school is for our families, and we truly appreciate the support you give in helping keep our children safe each day. We appreciate that parking is at a premium around our site. However, due to ongoing safety considerations, the limited size of our school site, restricted vehicle access, and a shortage of parking spaces for staff, we will not be able to issue parking permits to parents from January 2026.
This decision has been made carefully and with the best interests of our pupils, staff, and wider school community in mind. Ensuring a safe and well-managed environment on site remains our priority, and unfortunately our current capacity does not allow us to accommodate additional vehicles.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your support helps us keep the school grounds safe and accessible for everyone. Miss Bardsley will be available to discuss parking concerns or answer any questions that parents may have on Monday 8th December at 2:30pm. Alternatively, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email.
