Head of Primary's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our highest priority. As part of our safety plan after Easter, we will be conducting a practice of our safety in procedure called Invacuation. A safety in procedure is used when there is an activity or situation in the surrounding community that means we need to secure our building and support pupils. This might be a local fire which is causing poisonous fumes in the air and the pupils cant go out to play.
Practicing this procedure ensures that pupils and staff understand what to do.
We regularly have a fire drill practice so everyone knows what to do in the event of a fire. This is a routine part of maintaining a secure environment.
We appreciate your continued partnership in supporting a safe and positive school community. If you have any questions, then please do contact the school office.
At Krishna Avanti, we are proud to celebrate festivals that reflect our shared values. Holi, the Hindu festival of colours, marks the arrival of spring and symbolises joy, new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil. It is a celebration of unity and community, where people come together in happiness and mutual respect — values that closely reflect The Avanti Way.
We are delighted to inform you that we will be celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colours, on Friday 27th March. We warmly invite you to join and observe this celebration.
We would ask that all parents support by standing around the edge of the field near our black fence surrounding the school field and join us in marking this vibrant and meaningful occasion.
The event will take place from 2:15pm to 2:40pm. Please book your place on ARBOR
We look forward to celebrating together and creating a vibrant, joyful afternoon for the children.
Warm regards,
Mrs Dolby- Molson
Magical Moments
Every two weeks, we take time to celebrate the Magical Moments happening across our school — those special sparks of curiosity, creativity, and deep learning that make each day meaningful. Whether it’s a breakthrough in understanding, a beautifully presented piece of work, or a moment of teamwork and joy, these snapshots capture the best of what learning at Krishna Avanti is all about.
We’re proud to share and celebrate these moments with our school community!
Ram Navami

Ram Navami is a joyful and meaningful festival that celebrates the appearance of Lord Rama, one of the most beloved figures in Hindu tradition. He is known as the embodiment of truth, righteousness, and compassion, and his life story is told in the ancient epic, the Ramayana.
For parents and families, Ram Navami is a beautiful opportunity to share important values with children—such as kindness, honesty, courage, and respect for others. It reminds us of the importance of doing what is right, even when it is difficult, just as Lord Rama did throughout his life.
Above all, Ram Navami is a time of joy, reflection, and togetherness—a chance to celebrate goodness and inspire young hearts with timeless values. Wishing you all a very Happy Ram Navami!

Star of the week
Each week, we celebrate a pupil who truly embodies the values of the Avanti Way—whether it’s showing compassion, demonstrating self-discipline, striving for excellence, or fostering spiritual insight. This recognition is more than just good work—it's about living our values and inspiring others to do the same.
Well done to this week’s star for shining brightly and setting a wonderful example for us all!

Rights Respecting at Home: Article of the Week
At Krishna Avanti Primary School, we are committed to promoting and upholding the rights of every child. It is important that children understand their rights because it helps them to feel valued, safe, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Rights Respecting School information
Rights Respecting Article of the week:
🌺 Freedom of Speech & Belief – Article 14
(Linked to Remembrance Day)
Every child has the right to think and believe what they choose and to practise their religion, as long as this does not stop others from enjoying their rights. Governments must also respect the role of parents in guiding children as they grow.
This links to Remembrance Day, when we honour those who have worked — and still work — to protect freedom, peace, and human rights.
Why it matters:
Everyone has the freedom to think and believe
Different beliefs should be respected
Rights come with responsibilities
At-home activity:
List as many religions as you can. Can you find or draw symbols linked to them? Children could create a small display to share in school.
